Between 1942 and 1944, a total of 25,000 Roma were deported by Antonescu to the Transnistrian region. Half of them died shortly after from hunger, frost or other causes. After seventy years, the few survivors, who were children at the time, remember the tragic events of those days and recount them with heartbreaking emotion. The film attempts to recreate the road, the places and the events of the Roma Holocaust. The interviews with the Ukrainian population in the Transnistrian region complete the stories of the Roma and transform an environment common today into one of anthropology, memory and tears.
