Relief for the beneficiaries of the law no. 189/2000

Law No. 189/2000, which regulates the rights of persons persecuted for ethnic reasons by the Romanian regime from September 6, 1940 to March 6, provides that the beneficiaries of the law are entitled to six free round trips by train per year in any category of the Romanian State Railways,
These persons may travel accompanied by using the tickets that the holder has received. The accompanying person travels with the ticket of the holder, under the condition that he/she accompanies the holder.
The train journey is made only with the travel voucher purchased with the special tickets, which are nominal, non-transferable and annual. The special ticket consists of the ticket block, six detachable tickets, six detachable additional tickets valid for six one-way trips, i.e. three round trips by train.
The attached tickets are used for rail transportation only if the trip can be continued on a higher class train or with a higher class reservation.
Travel in a sleeping car or on a route other than that specified on the special ticket is possible only if all required surcharges are paid.
Loss or damage of the special ticket will result in the inability to use the free rides.
The ticket inspector on the train will ask for the identity card and the special ticket. The beneficiary of the free rides must present the pension receipt of the month in which the special ticket was issued.
Vouchers for free special train rides are issued and distributed by the National Pension Fund or local pension funds together with the monthly payment [of pension?] and compensation granted under Law 189/2000. http://www.cfrcalatori.ro/5123
