On June 19, 2014, we asked information from every House of Pensions in Romania with respect to how the law 189/2000 is implemented. We received few answers.
On August 16, 2014 we made again the same request this time only to the Houses of Pensions that had not answered. Again, just a few answers. On the whole, until September 23, 2014, we had received answers only from some Houses of Pensions:
AradThe other Houses of Pensions (the majority!) sent so far (June 2015) no answer whatsoever. On October 15, 2014 we sent a memoir to Mrs. Aurelia Cristea, commissioned Minister for Social Dialogue, in which we drew attention to the difficulties the Roma are confronted with and we advanced some solutions, or a meeting to discuss possible solutions.
The memoir was accompanied by annexes (the brochure of the project, archive documents, the answers we received from the Houses of Pensions). Unfortunately, by the end of February 2015 we had not yet received any answer to that memoir.
February 27, 2015, with the help of Mr. Ciprian Necula, we managed to send the memoir again, this time to Mr Codrin Scutaru from the Ministry of Labor.
As a result of this memoir, on March 11, 2015, we received an answer from the National House of Pensions.
